  • Blue Koi Angels w/ Stainless Steel decor

A while back I posted that I was going to try out something different w/ my new 37-gal. tank in my kitchen. I'm almost there! I'm still working on the substrate. I currently have glass bead substrate w/ stainless steel kitchen whisks, slotted spoons, spatulas, etc. I'm looking for some stainless steel balls for the substrate and some dimpled sheet metal for the background. It's sitting on a light wood stand w/ frosted doors w/ angelfish etched in (PetsMart).
And I FINALLY got 5 of my Blue Koi Angels moved in! That's the best part. To me, it's gorgeous.
Can't wait 'til Charles gets home and sees it. He wasn't really into it (more the natural look) although he's been a gem about "surprising" me with a really cool-looking filter.
I'm ready for my babies to start having babies! They are 3rd generation that I bred from a Black Clown mother and a Silver Ghost/Gold Marble father which begat 2 Silver Ghost/Gold Marbles (phenotype) who in turn passed a blushing gene into their spawn which had about 15% Blue Kois and German Blues.
I'll take pics as soon as the b/g and silver substrate is in.
    Hope I haven't bored ya'll, but YIPPPPEEEE!!!!

It looks nice...in an eclectic, artsy sort of way.
