Drift acclimation = when you tie fish to driftwood to acclimate them to the tank and your sadistic self :-). kidding aside, I think she either meant floating the bag or drip acclimation, though drip acclimation in case of tetras sounds too much------------------------------------------------------------

Sadly my first fish that i got a year ago from petsmart died last night. That platy has been so forgiving and put up with me since i was still new to the hobby. He went through tank cycling, overfeeding, ammonia spike. I guess all those have done a toll on his overall health.I have the patience of a goldfish....
