It's funny, some of the bigger ones when I bought them have grown the most, while some of the smallest ones didn't seem to grow at all

Happened with my Moba colony of 16 as well. The runts will get up to a certain size but it'll take them a while.

Just the natural progression of a colony. The dominant ones tend to have a higher growth rate.

Would it better if I would take all the small ones out and grow them seperate then introduce them back in later on ?

Nope. As long as they're healthy and eating and not beaten up, leave em in. If you grow them out separately, they'll probably get smashed up when you try to reintroduce them.

                      • So I'm draining the tank pretty low to pull a few frontosa for my home tank and I see this

Keep in mind this is a 10" long, 1" thick Rostrata. His alive and good, but thought this was an unusual way to hide.

I have a video that I took before draining that I will post later
