has anyone ever built one and used it on a eurobrace tank ?
i had set up my 220 already and was wondering is there anyway i can use a wet n dry instead of drilling the tank and a idea came along as the diy overflow. Thanks for the feedback

Several members have made diy overflows. Eurobrace or not, any overflow should work on any tank if you make it right. You don't have to drill any tanks just to have a wet/dry. You could also just buy a overflow box to save yourself the trouble of making one that will work correctly and one that will match the GPH of your return pump's output..

You should try the DIY section first. Look around to see if there's any old threads of DIY overflows instead of making new ones.

The eurobrace will not affect the diy overflow. Just make the pipe over the top(eurobrace) as long as it has to be. If you ever want to come over on a Sunday we could whip on out in 30 minutes.

It shouldn't float away if you have the back part of the overflow box. If the U-tube is too small, why not get a bigger one? I'm sure you can find one.

I do have the back part of the overflow box but the prob is it won't reach the box inside the tank and the box would be under the lip and hve no way of getting water out

Maybe you should post this in the DIY and get pictures of the eurobrace with measurement of the brace so people have an idea of how to help you

The eurobrace is the prob. . Will a flex pipe work? If not drilling the tank or the brace maybe the way to go....
