 Re: White spot help

Pull the affected fish, place in a hospital tank asap, treat from there.30Long: L134 Leopard Frog Plecos X16, Corydoras Sterbai X9, Endlers X4

 Re: White spot help

A hospital tank is a good investment, to avoid treating the entire tank. Petco has their dollar/gal sale right now, if you didn't know.

Turn temp to mid-hi 80s.30Long: L134 Leopard Frog Plecos X16, Corydoras Sterbai X9, Endlers X4

 Re: White spot help

Treating the entire tank is not a bad idea...

Be sure to add some epsom salt & increase aeration too.

the ich meds will burn the loaches as well as the ghost knife, and possibly kill the shrimps. these fish have no scales to protect them. turn up the temp to 86 and add a half dose of salt.my fish house:
 2.5g- ramshorn hatchery
6g eclipse- yellow shrimp, chili rasboras, yellow apple snails
29g- geo grow-out, angels, 12"fire eel, dwarf frog, apple snails
45g- jade sleeper gobies, native killifish, feeder endlers
75g- 2 oscars, parrot, silver dollars, albino channel cat, syno euptera, bichir, baby jaguar, convicts, yabby
 125g- fahaka puffer, rainbow shark
 and about a dozen bettas....
