Picked up the meat pie recently from HAW and finally got around to making a batch, you guys should have warned me! The stuff smells the dry seafood section of Hong Kong supermarket!


Microwaved the stuff without knowing and the kitchen reeks!


Have it cooling right now and will be trying it with some super stubborn fish that only take Tilapia filets and raw shrimp.

Either the fish are full or they need to be starved before trying new foods.

I figured since its similar in shape and texture of the tilapia cubes I cut for the fish it would be readily accepted but then again the tank had two filets of tilapia today.

Will try again in a few days after starving them.


I will say that it mixes pretty cool, clean up is really easy too!

Some of mine take it some dont. But they murder the NLS pellets

starve them for couple days then try to feed it again.

some fish will not take i know my other colony of trophs dont pick at it, but my chaitika destroy it within mins of putting it in the tank.

What did you use to set the stinky stuff? A tray and saran wrap?
