  • Feeding Fresh Caught

Yesterday, I went fishing and caught a nice size fish. It had a good amount of eggs inside and I was wondering if it was safe or good to feed some of this to my fish. I would say yes but wanted to get some more opinions.

I kept the eggs out of the redfish. I have several different species of fish. Geos, jade sleepers, texas, perch, and some other unknown cichlid. I thought about keeping a few scrap pieces of meat to throw in as well but thats a little late now.

                    Re: Feeding Fresh Caught

Yeah, your first post was pretty misleading, especially when you mentioned eggs. That lead me to think you were trying to feed eggs to your fish....

That being said, should be no problem feeding red fish meat to your captives.
