  • Can i put horns in an aquarium

i had this old set of horns that i broke, from the base so now its kinda like a horn whistle, anyways would it be safe to put in the aquarium as a decoration

I don't think that would be good idea. IMO. THe horn would rot and fowl the water.
But maybe some one knows something I don't....

Like a pair of horns from longhorn? I agree with Troy, they may end up decomposing & fouling the water.

However, google & youtube can be very helpful in this situatiion... have you tried a search of either?

i thought antlers were different, though. antlers are bone, whereas most horns are keratin, same as our hair and fingernails.
                  my fish house:

45g- jade sleeper gobies, native killifish, feeder endlers
