How long does it normally take you guys to soak your driftwood to the point it will sink? I have a piece that is atleast 12 x12x12, looks like a broken tree stump, that I have been submerging for almost 2 weeks now and it still pops right to the top when I remove the weight. I know it will sink because it was in my 125 a few years ago but when I sold the tank it went into the garage and became bone dry.

Re: Soaking driftwood
If you can boil it multiple times somehow, it will sink. You could also put it in your tank and set rocks on it in a fashion where it won't float back up. If you don't want to do either, it could take a while for it to become waterlogged.
