        +1

        Things to consider:
        Tank size
        Size of filters
        How many filters
        Type of lights
        How long lights are on
        Type of heater
        Species of troph/petro
        Size troph/petro
        How many troph/petro
        Type of decor
        Type of sand
        Brand of powerhead
        How many water changes
How large of a water change
        Type of food
        How much food

And the list goes on. You kind of get the idea. I'm sure you ran more than $1200 for your trophs if you include water bill and electric bill.

This too. There was too much stuff to list so I stopped at what I had listed.

+1 I think any fishkeeper of any species of fish tries not to think about how much money they've tossed in the pit.

True but most will try to recoup some of that money by selling offspring

If the variety that is being kept is profitable... some seem to be sitting on troph fry longer than normal lately.
