Make your own with bigger hose for faster water changes. I have a python and its pretty slow to me. I don't use it with a faucet for auction since its just waste if water.
I've never used a python, but I'm using the Aqueon water changer for water changes on my 100g. It's not fast but it's good enough for me to be able to run the refill hose at a similar speed without chance of killing off livestock. I've run it on a sink and on a faucet outside. Both drain at the same speed with water on full blast which is pretty lame... I decided to just use the sink since the house becomes a swamp when I run the faucet outside. It sure beats buckets!
For fast draining, I would invest in a small powerheads like the AC50(powerhead) or a Maxijet. Then stick a hose on the output of the powerhead and toss it in your tank when you're doing water changes. Less waste of water plus it's fast and that way you don't go out and spend like $60 on a water changer when you can spend $10 for a used powerhead. Either that or you can just stick a tube in the tank and siphon it yourself by sucking on the tube (probably the cheapest option).
+1 on what coung said both are good but a garden hose from walmart 50ft cost you like 25bucks and an adapter for the sink from HD. It will drain faster w/o needing to have the faucet on for suction, and it will also fill 10x faster than python or aqueon.
