I'm thinking of changing the stock in my daughters tank and getting rid of the livebearers. I have 10 neon tetras, 3 albino corys, 2 albino bristlenose plecos, and a bunch of snails. Want to keep these but want some other kid friendly fish to live with them. Was thinking maybe 5-6 dwarf gouramis but not sure what else. Any ideas?

How big is the tank? Dwarf gouramis may be a bad idea for tankmates for what you've got listed. They can get aggressive in temperament unless you get lucky with a group of peaceful fish. Maybe some Tetras, smaller rainbows, rasboras, or green neons to add on to your reg neons?

Rams are a good choice. they are very peaceful. They will not bother the neons at all. but like gouramis they will pick on eack other. If you can find One Male and One female that would be best.

I have had 2 pair in a 75g but only one would breed. they picked at the other male til he died. That may have been just mine but I would just try one pair.Nothing Kills Evil Like a Sharp Stick...Comment
