Someone on planted tank said that Bolivian rams might be better because they are more peaceful and less susceptible to stress.

I would get a 1m:2f ratio or 1m:3f ratio of rams if you decide to get them. That way aggression is well dispersed. Seems that everyone who has them have better results with a harem. Tim has some extra furcatus that are AWESOME! They get up to about 2-2 1/2" max, but they're about 1" right now.

HAW has Green neons as well. IMO they're much nicer than the reg neons and smaller.

What about apistos? Anyone know if they are a viable choice?

Bolivions are a bigger ram. with out the bright collor. they are more pink but very cool. Apistos are very cool and they come in many collors.
I have had many Rams Blue Gold and bolivion. They are easy to care for.

We had blue rams at one point but they got bloated and stopped eating not sure if they had a parasite or what but they were pretty cool we they were healthy.

Thinking of changing stock in daughter tank

So with my wife's angels having paired and there being a third wheel in the 29 gallon tank. I may have to move the one angel to my daughters tank. Would it work with a pair of rams?
