Advancing the hobby

This post is in response to a post in the buy/sell section. IMO, the whole reason most of us hang out on this site is to advance our hobby by sharing experinces and knowledge.
When someone starts out a project with the intension of mistreating the fish and only one person takes the initiative to speak up, this does not say much for the site or the hobbyist that support the site.
I am not advocating that someone should jump on the poster and chastise him. Maybe try to inform him of the fishes long term needs.
This is just M/O

i guess you didnt see his thread that got deleted last night around 10 members told him it was a horrible idea. but he just got hostile and started cussing at members.that is why nobody posted on that thread your talking about. and that is why he is banned

Every one learns. some learn easy. they can read a book. Some people have to kill a few first. Other kill everything and learn they just can't do this...

I always try to share my bad experiences even if it is because I was doing something stupid. Call me what you want but I like people to learn from my mistakes.
