New 125

After looking for a few weeks and comparing size and price, I found a 125 at ultimate fish with a nice stand and canopy that had everything I wanted, except being RR.

So far with the setup I have black & white aragonite sand and some holey rock for decoration.  Using my Pro clear 125 wet/dry and penguin 350 for filtration.  Its current inhabitants are what is left over from purchases I made almost 2 years ago(mix of 2 tanks).  

Plan to get a giraffe cat and a background soon, then in the next few months or so will be adding some tangs(still undecided on type).  When we move and figure out our color scheme at the new house, I plan to stain the stand/canopy with a drown shade and change the hardware to something more modern(kinda like Jolley's new stand).

Beautiful!!  One day I will have a tank like that myself.  Post pictures after you do all the work you're planning, I'd like to see it.

the fish definately have plenty of room to swim.  There are only 7 fish in the whole tank.  Hopefully I will be able to ad more during the holidays.

Very nice. My wife and I have 2 Giraffe cats from Fish R Us on 242. They are amazing fish but if you plan on more than one I would get both at the same time. They will get along better that way.

they were about 4 inches and $25 it was a special, 3 for $75. One is 22 inches and the other is 14 inches now. One in a 210 and the other in a 150. Ask for Jason and he will let you know when he has them.
