The brand name is Metro - IF you have a Metro rack you will notice there is a small plastic tab somewhere on the rack on both sides (in the shelf section) that has their logo with their name.
One of the things I have learned from the past with racks...  Install a 3/4 inch plywood on top of the shelves making sure that the middle part of the rack is not bearing the weight (ie all the weight is distributed to the edges) and this make the rack MUCH more sturdy..  I used to have like 8 monitors on each shelf for monitoring stuff back when I used to work at Shell..  (this was their cheap solution btw... thank for LCD's came down in price)

I dont think these are metro brand,but im sure they can hold 2 10gallons.  I have 2 10's on 3/4"MDF on the bottom rack.  Seems to be holding fine without any sagging or anyhing.

8.33 lbs / Gal water...  10gal tank times 8.33 = 83.3 lbs... plus everything else.. I am thinking you are not looking at more than 100~110 lbs total per tank..
PS I talked to the local Petco here a few weeks back and they said that they usually run their $1/gallon tank sale for their 20-55g tanks sometime between jan and feb 2008 - just in case you want to pick up some more tanks for the rack

Not realy needing any other tanks, but if I could get some 20L, 40breeder, or even a 55 for cheap I will be all over that.  Let me know if you see anything
