stressed fish

I did a water change & i have 2 stressed fish, sitting in 1 place gasping........for a few hours now......is there anything i can do?

Add salt and more air. if you can. What do you use to make you water safe? after rain they add a lot of chem. to the water.

Add an airstone and salt. And again what did u use to treat the water

But you use a water conditioner, like Prime, right?

are that hovering right below the waterline or down close to the substrate?

They were down by the substrate........i lost 1 this morning.....even with adding salt & airstone.........the other is hovering next to powerhead......

Normally I'd do a water change if I notice that kind of behavior unless the water source itself is contaminated. My ideal dechlorinator is Kordon's AmQuel+, but I'm currently using Safe. Seachem Safe is a concentrated powder version of Seachem Prime and is the biggest bang for your buck. A lot of members use Seachem Prime, but I'd take AmQuel+ or Safe over Prime any day.

Looks like your water source might be contaminated... We all know how wonderful our water quality is... That's why I'm scared of big water change... You have stress coat that's essentially a water conditioner.. It's a matter of preference. I have both stress coat and seachem prime. As for cost effective prime is better.
