Thanks, I was stressed...I really don't want to lose this fish. Her right side looked kinda banged up too, I was confused at first and then yeah- it dawned on me that for her, that's a pretty big fall. Not to mention, she somehow made it across the counter and about 3 feet away from the tank on the tile floor.

I'm so glad we were standing in there and it didn't happen at night...

Yeah, he's going Ike Turner on her this morning honey...gotta get another tank set up. Might steal somebody's sponge filter just to get it done ASAP- the Ebi's, you think?

Maybe scratches, it's weird- I've never seen a fish get solid cloudy eyes like that unless they're dead...scared the hell out if me this morning.
I'm setting up the 2g now, I'll put some melafix in there once I get her over...I have some salt but never have used it before, should I do both?

A bit might help, maybe a teaspoon per gallon

Allright, got her set up and moved over to a 2.5g (tightest top in the house!! Lol) with our oldest-running sponge filter, seeded sand and plenty of plants. Dosed stability, melafix and salt.
Feeling better about it now, so far so good.

Not the best picture, but this is the new place.

And if anyone has another tank like this, I'd love to buy it: 2-2.5g, black trim with a metal screen top, that latches in place on both sides. PM me.

Looks good. How is she? Garlic soaked mysis maybe, if she's not eating?

The salt might do a number on the plants but it's worth it if it helps her heal.

I was just about to post this. You could do with having the plants. Salt will damage the plants some.

I had an endlicheri shoot out of a tank and she found her way under a stand with less than 1" of clearance (she was 13-14" long and about 2-3 tall.) Tossed her back in the tank and she had white cloudy eyes with some scratches. Healed up about 3-4 days later. I just added 1tsp per 5 gal.

Allright, thanks guys-I wasn't thinking about the salt killing the plants. I'll probably pull them until I WC the salt out.

She's doing good so far- her eyes have cleared up a little I think but no, still not eating. I put some blackworms in there earlier, that's all I can get her to eat. but they're still just chilling...not sure if she's not hungry or just isn't seeing them.

Hell yes she ate, there isn't one blackworm left in that tank!! She probably went through half a dozen or more since lights out.

And her eyes are much less cloudy, almost back to normal!!! Wooooohoooo!
