  • Amazonas Magazine

I just wanted to mention how much I enjoy reading Amazonas magazine. The articles are first class, very interesting, informative, and the color photography is wonderful. (You actually learn something from the articles and they are not made up of old rehashed fluff). I'm only into fresh water fish and this is a freshwater magazine. For me, that is good news! (Their Coral magazine is for salt water lovers). In my estimation, this magazine is a "cut above" what you would expect. Beginners would enjoy it, but Amazonas is definitely targeting advanced hobbyists. Having a subscription also allows you to read past issues "on line". I think this magazine shows Tropical Fish magazines have failed in the past because of content and not because of dwindling interest in the hobby. I can't say enough about Amazonas magazine.

It is a great magazine, top notch. Just wish it had 12 issues instead of 6 a year...

Being a pleco guy, the 1st issue was the best. I also "stuffed the envelope" for voting which fish would be on the cover of the last magazine (green phantom pleco).

Clay, the Green pleco on the cover and article looks beautiful! Do you have them? (I think I read they are hard to spawn. Is that correct)?
