          My personal favorite for the best tank cleaning small catfish is the regular brown bristtlenose plecos.  They stay less than 6" and pretty much stay out of sight all the time.

          They are robust enough to withstand most cichlids, and are very healthy.

          Cannot go wrong with bristtlenose, I prefer the brown over albino, because the albino stands out, the brown guys blend in and almost impossible to find most times of the day.

            If you are looking for some very nice Synodontis Mike at Mike's Tropical Fish and Pets have both eupterus and we believe schoutedeni (Yellow Marbled Syno) in stock for 9.99 and 5.99 I believe.

            They dont grow more than about 6" in a tank :)

              Saw them today myself....good looking cats but if you really want something to move rocks he has those blue cats or "sharks" as well.

                Fish Ranch usually has a few kinds of synodontis, as well.  :)

                  Fish Ranch has a pretty good inventory of smallish cats right now. Several different types. I woul call or go by.

                    Microglanis iheringi or South American Bumblebee Catfish.  I have one that I don't see very often when the light is on, but a good scavenger and only around 4" in length.

                              airportjunkie, i went there the other day to buy some, they dont have any. They dont ever update theyre website and the prices are all wrong.
