  • 200 Watt Via Aqua Titanium Heater

Ok, I read the directions on the heater and it states not to place the heater horizontal in an aqauarium. I want to put the heater in my wet/dry but I do not think that it have enough water in it to circulate the way it is suppose to if I place it vertical.. What are the pros/cons on placing this heater horizontal.

The only thing I can think of is that they want you to keep it vertical so the cable isn't bending at the heater and possibly cause something to malfunction. I've never had a problem with placing heaters horizontally.

I have my via aqua titanium heater in my sump for months and another one in my other tank and all are horizontal. Nothing is wrong with them. Heats the water like a champ
