I'm starting to feel worried as I haven't seen my pleco at all lately. I was doing tank cleaning on Sunday as usual and noticed that my long fin albino pleco is missing. Basically take the cave out to clean and still haven't seen him. I checked on Monday and Tuesday night when the light is out but still couldn't find him. Should I try to find him again? or is it safe to say that he got eaten? He's about 2 inches long.. so I doubt the neighbor could have finished him that quick.

still a bit worry.. cuz I haven't find him anywhere. There's only 2 caves in the tank, given that it's heavily planted and this fish aren't afraid of me touching him. I don't think I will ever be able to locate him in the jungle. I'll just leave it for now.I have the patience of a goldfish....

I use a 2217 on my 40g. I dont think he can jump out. The water level is at least 2 inches bellow the top of the tank. I did see some cotton-y stuff stuck on plants yesterday. Don't know if that was his remains.. This is so weird because none of the fish looks bloated. I can't assume that he was eaten.I have the patience of a goldfish....

What kind of companions does it live with? I've had fish leave my plecos in the gravel. It always seems they're in the gravel...

it's heavily planted. I really don't wanna mess with the scape as of right now. Oh well, if he doesn't show up, I will just assume that he's dead. after he ate all those algae on the plants for me. I hope I can find another long fin in Houston.I have the patience of a goldfish....
