The good news here is the gridlock we have in congress and the inability of the two parties to compromise. This bill is strictly is along partisan lines.

ALL 29 cosponsors are Democrats and this bill was introduced in the House of Representatives. The Republicans have the majority and will not allow this to pass. It looks like the hobby and hobbyists will actually benefit from gridlock.

This is ridiculous no matter what political party you subscribe to, which is kinda besides the point here. For ALL of us here, no exceptions, this is bad.
