I have a fahaka puffer and hes lets say hes less than personal with other fish. However a catfish i have seems to be doing ok. aside from some nips at his tail. Two chiclids were great but one seems slower than the other.

Was wondering if a small gar would be a good tank mate. I had one before and he wasnt agressive at all.

I think the a gar would be more protected from the puffer.

Any thoughts?
