Wow! Lots of ideas! I'm liking the whole themed tank thing....

I want to do saltwater so bad but I want a bigger tank so I have more stocking options!

Try puffers If you have never had one you will love them. And if you have had one then you know why they are called water puppies. You can get some that can only be kepped by it self and others you can have a tank full of them.

I always like biotope tanks, it gives you something to research, replicate, and build upon

What type of puffers could I have in the tank? I've always liked them!

We have Fig8s. We had 3 in a 40g. with no prob. Pie Puffers are the smallest. But you can have bunch together. MBU would be to big. There are a lot of F/W puffers. I'm sure one you see them all there will be one catch you eye.

You could have almost any of the puffers, though I'd avoid Mbus and Fahakas (require bigger tanks). Beyond that, brackish eventually need full strength marine saltwater tanks eventually. Pea Puffers, Avocado puffers, South American Puffers, Lurkers (Dragon, Hairy, Congo, Abei) are all perfect for your tank. Keeping multiples in the same tank can be tricky, but SAP, Pea Puffers, Red Eye Red Tails are the best choices for communal species.
