Thanks y'all! Sorry for the late response-- just woke up after an overnight shift.

Tim, I saw those pics online too. I was initially shying away from the rounder river rock cuz it's kinda annoying to scape with those, but I think I might just go with those. And Johnny, I've got a trip planned to Nepco tomorrow after work! Kinda sucks they're only open til 5 or I woulda gone today. We'll see!

Really appreciate everyone's suggestions. Keep 'em coming! Today I'm working on setting up the 40 gal holdin tank with one of the AC110s from their current tank. I'll move the fish over in the next day or two and salt them a little to help with the transition from the 4th floor to the 2nd floor apartment. :)

I think the black sand is what is throwing me off. White rock would look a bit weird, so a darker gray stone might look better. Large pieces of Red lava rock would pop in a tank set off with black, but under blue leds might wash out a bit.

That'd be fun but we're starting at 6 when I get home from work, and Nepco frikkin closes at 5!! :(

Yeah Roy, I'm between smooth gray stone and lava rock. I don't intend on having blue LEDs cuz these beauties pop on their own. I just want to have a spotlight in the middle.

Did anyone ask if you had those rocks? Hahaha are you trying to sell them or something? If not then that's irrelevant to the thread. LOL. JK don't go ballin on me
