Need more ciculation

Getting a thin film on the top of my nanos and I need some circulation help. The filters just arent reaching all the way across the tank.

I am thinking about going with the Hydor Koralia Nano pump, Im thinking the 240. Tanks are about 8 gallons. Anyone have experience with these guys in a smaller tank? Tanks are planted with schooling fish (tetras in 1, rasboras in another).

Any other suggestions that I should be looking at?

I had that issue with my 20 gal not knowing my kit actually came with a terrible filter. I just popped an air pump in. I see that its a nano but maybe you can just use mini airline rubbing and could set up a gang valve system with a 20 gal pump. (Well that's assuming the tanks are all near eachother) in conclusion small airpumps, or you can try and modify the lip of where your water comes out of the filter to maybe raise it so it can disturb the surface a bit more?
