What to feed my micro fish

hey chester how does your rainbows and your micros fish do? do you have any shrimps in that tank?

the fish seem to be doing great. i haven't lost any so they are eating the crushed flakes and NFS small pellets or something else. my boraras are in with a bunch of cherry shrimp, and the rainbows are in we a handful of yellow neos... i plan to add some CBS to that tank soon.

my father-in-law uses microworms for a lot of his fry and microfish. he tried to get me started with a culture when i lived near him, but yes he used oatmeal and i just gave up with the smell

Yup. When I got my starter culture it was disgusting. Smelled like a bear died in there and was rotting for days. My cultures are far from that level of smelly.

ok good. cus i want to get at least a trio of each rainbow from tim. i switch the 2.5 to a 10g and the 8 brigittae look like they are in space, my boss is buying me some bigger fish but i want to leave my shrimps there.

It depends on which rainbows though. Obviously the bigger ones aren't shrimp safe. Any of the Psuedomugils should be fine.

3. Furcata Rainbowfish -

Adult shrimp should be fine. Shrimplets would always have a chance of being preyed upon by rainbows.

ok, then i will add more moss and hiding places for the shrimplets. if not then i can always switch the shrimps bac kto the 2.5
