The Freshwater Sat+ LED one is actually pretty good for growing plants. I've seen plenty of high light carpeting plants grown with this fixture. The PAR is average. Nowhere near close to the Finnex Ray 2 of course.

I have those lights and they are decent specially in a shallow tank and up to 24 inches at most... here are the PAR values according to the current usa rep on TPT

Depth in Inches PAR Readings in Micromoles
          12” 36
          18” 28
          24” 21

I am using this as my timer super easy to set up and never have to worry about the time resetting like a digital timer.

Message RonR. He has the most amazing light setup I've seen. Gradually goes from dim to bright from 6a-8a, and also auto-dims into moonlights at night. Really really nice system.
