  • Hill Country Auction Trip

The Hill Country Cichlid Club auction in San Antonio is coming up on February 9th (a Saturday). I always go anyway, but I figured this time I might try to make a more organized go of it and see if anyone would like to attend with me. It's a pretty big auction and there's usually some really cool stuff. My idea is that if enough people want to go I would rent a van and everyone could chip in a little for the rental and gas. If it becomes a big event (the trip) it might be possible to make it an HAS sponsored event which could additionally help with costs for HAS members. This would be an all day trip and I never leave until the end of the auction. We also often grab something to eat afterwards. Anyway....please post on this thread if you'd be interested or could commit to going. I'm posting the link to the event below.

          Charles,

It would also be a 50/50 for me; will decide closer to the date.  Thank you for putting the field trip together!  later, ken

I might be interested in this.  Wife will be 8 months pregnant though.  I don't think I could make a commitment so if I go, I'd prolly make the trip myself or maybe with others deciding to go last minute.

Do you have to be a member of the Hill Country Cichlid Club or any other club to attend?

All can attend and are welcome. I was just saying that if it becomes an HAS event it might help defray costs for members who participate.
