Purigen

I bought a purigen on eBay thinging it was the stuff already bagged like the last time.

I got sent the bag below, I dont want to open it if it doesn't come with a bag to put the purigen in. Does anybody know ?

Pantyhose always worked for us, just harder to regenerate. Otherwise its way cheaper for the Purigen amount and cost... especially in larger tanks or smaller ones. Using that bag in a nano tank is a bit crazy, so smaller individual bags are a necessity.

Pantyhose work great for media that does not come with a bag with it!

Bag for media, Just go any hardware store on the paint section they use for spray paint it is big 12x12 and other size and cheap .89cent ( cant beat this price) it work great on all my sump tank.

The Purigen. It work good for me so far past 6 month on the my sump of 75 gal tank and it is not turn brown yet so it still active. The Purigen can be regeneration. Here is the link how to regeneration http://www.seachem.com/Products/prod...s/Purigen.html

Ive had one in it, I want to have one handy for when im regenerating it. It works great considering I have.thr driftwood in it.
