    The green is from moss. Its not the rock color. You can do that effect in most any rock, but those pictured are probably just slate.

      Its algae growth. But not all rocks can have that type of growth on them

        Looks like landscape stone. I think it sand stone.

          Havtn seen the sandstone dark grey like that , just the tan color. Will have to check out the rockyards

                Try placing them in a shallow kiddie pool outside and letting them get algae covered before moving them into the tank
