great source for cheap rocks/slate

i just picked up 36 pounds of slate from a stone place by my house for $4.  i think it was called "heights stone" or something like that.  you just gather up what you want, have one of the yard guys weigh it and print a ticket (only the owner speaks english), pay the bill and you're off.

the majority of the stuff they have is cut/broke for gardening, but they have a bunch of smaller pieces mixed in.

It's Yale Stone and Masonry Supply, their address is 2503 Yale, phone number - 713.868.8005.  I live, well, used to live, and still have stuff on 27th between Yale and Shepherd but I never managed to make it over there.  Maybe I'll go by when I'm in the Heights tomorrow.
