Just throwing my 2cents in i like HFB is very helpful and someone always has useful tips or suggestions . I found out about this sight on Facebook i was looking for a fish and someone sent me here And i rely like it.

Please let me be clear,, I am not knocking FB. I just think this site is set up better for Q&A, search and referencing.
I believe there is always room for other forums. This can only help the hobby. Again M/O

I use both but I do generally prefer this site because I get more responses lol.

I also use both. I see hfb as being more of the hard core fish keepers den. Sure, there's some people on on f/b page that have great knowledge, but I feel the majority here on the box litterly breath an live fish. I find myself posting quit a bit on the fb page, as it kind of feels more personal I guess you can say. I've met some awesome people on both sides. 'cough couph' and 1 or 2 not so awesome people!
