Ok, I am currently doing a water change, and I have been wondering if it is better to put a little too much in or too little. I am using 5 gallon buckets and the dose cup that comes with the conditioner is per 10 gallon. I was just wondering if it is better to use a little too much or be on the short side. I am also putting an air stone in the bucket to stir the conditioner. How long before it mixes?

Id rather be on the over side if any! Too little and it may be harmful to the fish. Five minutes with an airstone is good. Or u can toss in a powerhead for a few minutes too. Pre mixing water is a good thing and usually makes for less stress on the fish and u dont gotta worry about the conditioners taking effect in the tank their already diluted the water of the harmful parts of the tap befire fish even come in contact with the new water!!5 gal baby hecqui grow out

Ok, that is what I was thinking, but was unsure. Not too hard to go half to the 5ml line, but when I was filling the buckets, it is probably only 4 to 4 1/2 when I fill it. Just making sure it didin't need to be too exact! Thanks for the info.
