What goes good with angelfish (freshwater)?

Geophagus Brasiliensis look great and are very peaceful. But there are a lot of other fish. Like bristalnose pleco's. Cory's and other small fish. Don't go to small. Angels will eat anything they can fit in their mouth.

I want some rainbows but the ones I have found are expensive

I have German Blue Ram, Black Skirt Tetera, Corys, Neon's and Plecos in with my Angelfish. Its a very peaceful tank. Plenty of low hiding spaces for the smaller fish if need be but so far the Angels dont bother other fish.

Nice tank, I have a HOB and there isnt a huge amount of flow. Can't remember what kind it is off hand. I love my Angels though, got them when they where the size of a quarter. Great fish to watch imo
