How much are 5" Synodontis Acanthomias worth

I can get 6 at 5"+. What would be a fair price to offer. (Fair for both of us)

Edited to Synodontis acanthomias. Im pretty sure thats what they are.

They run about $8-10 @ 2.5"
I am going to use the std African growth model and call for a 2 times cost for double size.  Ie about 15-20 a piece.  But they better be like these http://www.scotcat.com/factsheets/sy..._eupterus.html

Else use 1.5 times.. if they still look more elongated than tall.

Sorry Jesper, i thought they were Eupterus, but my wife says no. I checked the pictures on planetcatfish and shes right. Im fairly sure(and so is she) that they are in fact Synodontis acanthomias.

A fair price would be one that you are comfortable paying. How much are they worth to you? A LFS would have them for $10-20 ea.

I haven't been to any LFS in quite awhile, so I can't help you there. If you are set on that particular species, then go for it. Syn. eurpterus are more commonly sold at LFS in Houston, but Syn. acanthomias are not considered "rare".

I would give -$2.50ea......they look ugly to me so that's what it's worth.
