That's great news Charles!  I figured you had something up your sleeve and that you'd spill eventually  

I'm glad you found a location that will allow you to grow and really market the hobby.  Being close to your home will be ideal for those late nights when unpacking shipments and dealing with any other situations arise that call for 'over and above' devotion.  

Of course, I do wish it was closer :(.  It was already difficult to get to Larkwood before closing due to traffic at quitting time.  I will just have to limit my visits to the new location to weekends.

Congratulations! If you decide to expand down the road, please consider a location in Katy. There isn't one private fish store in Katy. Katy is booming. I believe a private fish store would do very well in Katy. Only the big "boxes" are located in Katy and I refuse to buy from there. It's been years since I've been in one of those stores. Just food for thought. :)

Jolley I am with you there 200%...  Have you tried the new Roadhouse (talking food here not pets) on Westgreen and I-10...
That place has been jammed packed ever since they opened up their doors..

Thank you everyone for the kind words. I hope to be able to live up to them. The March 19th date is sort of a "soft" opening, as it's a Wednesday. A "grand" opening date will be forthcoming...with the requisite sales, promotions, and activities. As for expansion...we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

I have been twice now..  attempted to go there at least another 3 times... but when you are told between 45-60 minutes wait...  the kiddo's cannot sit still long enough.

Your "soft" opening is on my birthday and guess what?  It is also my spring break!!!! lol
There are pluses to being teachers, and only when you are off do you get to appreciate those pluses.
