What can I say.......... I don't like the city life. I'm just an old country woman from a small town population 3000. And I always called
Beaumont a big city.
I had a friend who grew up in Kountze TX just north of Beaumont.. she said that her parents took her to see her uncle in Galveston and thought it was a huge town.. when she got older she moved to Houston and went to UH Houston.. this is when I meet her and she told me that Houston was the biggest town she had ever been to. (at the time I had lived in Houston for 4 yrs and I had come from a Country that the complete population could reside in the Greater Houston area.)
Denmark in 1985 had about 5.1mil people.

Charles has done us all a huge favor and decided to (drum roll!!!) Open His Own Store!!! Woo Hoo!!! A serious hobbyists owned and friendly store.

Charles is very knowledgeable and March 19th will be a great day for hobbyists in the Houston area. It will be a great store and a great place for us all to get the information and fish we want.
Can you tell I am excited???

Congratulations! If you decide to expand down the road, please consider a location in Katy. There isn't one private fish store in Katy. Katy is booming. I believe a private fish store would do very well in Katy. Only the big "boxes" are located in Katy and I refuse to buy from there. It's been years since I've been in one of those stores. Just food for thought. :)
Congrats on the new store, you deserve everything that you strive for. Your hard work will pay off! You will not be to far for me at all it will take me about 30 mins less time to get to where you are.
I agree with the Katy folks on here, we would welcome you here in Katy when you get the feeling you need to grow.
For the Katy Folks -- I know that Rosenberg is not the perfect location for us, but I looked at my map, and here is how I am looking at getting to Rosenberg.
Take 99 to I get to the Westheimer / westpark (1093) and head west until you get to 723. Then head south on 723 to enter into Rosenberg. Go across the bridge, then over the railroad tracks and turn left on Ave H (hwy 90) and then again turn left on 3rd St and the store should be on the right (I think).
Distance for me has been shorten by .5 miles compared to the 1-800-Seahorse location. (Old Fish Ranch)
The good thing is that hwy 723 is being widen out from a 2 lane country road to a 4 lane road.. now actually I dont know when that is going to be accomplished and it could already have been completed I just dont know about it... (looking at satellite information will give you all sorts of interesting information.)
