Good Fish Stores in Bryan/CollegeStation

My girlfriend and I are setting up a tank at her place in college station and I was wondering if anyone could suggest some good fish stores in that area.

There aren't any. I'm here in College Station and you have to settle for Petco/smart


I heard someone had left Petco to go open one up, but who knows how long that'll take...

When me and screenname went we tried looking for a LFS.....google/yahoo/etc turned up two places.....petco/petsmart.

Luckily we went to check out Mike@TxTropheusTraders so it wasn't too disappointing.

Just looking for general supplies, and some fish dont know exactly what kind yet

do either of the petco/smart take decent care of their fish?

and I meant to bring a used filter from home to jump start the cycle but I forgot -_-

You are much better off ordering supplies (food, meds, etc.) online in your case.
I can get whatever type of fish you are looking for but I do not have a retail store front and I don't mess with common fish you can find in Petco type stores.
If you need a sponge or filter pad or something to get your tank cycling i can always pull something off one of my tanks for you.

Forgot which we stopped at but the fish there including their sw side was horrible.
