Looks like bloat or dropsy? I've never seen breeding loaches, but sometimes fish will get heavy with eggs. I don't think that's what this is though. Is the fish eating? Pooping? What does the poo look like?

Fish eats all the time. Very active. Never watched long enough to see waste.

Ha well maybe he is just really fat. Maybe cut back the food a bit to see if it goes away.

That fish is sick ..........i had the same problem woth my yo yo Pakistani. ...flushed it sad to say it didn't get better. Its common with them
