  • Putting together two tanks

Okie so it looks like over the weekend I am going to setup two tanks.

    One 75g 4ft tank and one 70g 3ft tank.

I have as you can see in my Signature the following fish going into these two tanks.

    9x Yellow Labs
4x Right now Hongi, but expect me to pick up a trio or a few more at HAS auction.
    6x Red Rubescent Peacock
    8x Electric Blue Ahli (iceberg)
    3x oxyrhynchus

Both tanks are going to have a holy rock setup, one with black sand and the other most like white sand

Here is what I had though of.
70g -- yellow labs + red Rubescent peacocks
75g -- Electric Blue Ahli (iceberg) + oxyrhynchus + hongi

What does the community think ?
I dont want cross breeding to occur if at all possible.

It's supposed to be a Tropheus x Auratus.

Looks like good choices for each tank.

Dorothy : How can you talk if you haven't got a brain?
Scarecrow: I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking... don't they?
Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.

                Re: Putting together two tanks

Well the project will have to be postponed until next weekend.  I have run into a snag with timing and painting and staining..  ie the stands will not be ready for the tanks until the end of this weekend or Monday.  ie work (the kind that pays your bills) interfered with hobby.

I promise once everything is up and running I will post pictures etc :)
