Tanks... Hmmm

Trying to get back into the game and planning on a huge downsize from a 210gal to something on the lines of a 40-55gal tank. Not really too sure what's out there now as I've been out a few years. I'm planning on going with a med-high light planted setup with CO2. I want a deep, open top, rimless tank.. Soooo the question is, what options are out there?


So far I'm considering taking the rims off a 40B, an ADA 90P, and the Aquavas 90CM (don't know much about this brand other than the whole ADG-ADA thing).

I have heard a lot of good things about ADG.

Well I love ADG even before they opened up retail. They have quality equipment and livestock. It's just that I haven't heard much about the NA/Aquavas setups

Try taking off the trim of the 40b should work nicely after its cleaned up

Well... I'm in the process of getting a quote on a custom built tank and stand with the perfect dimensions (for me anyways). Hopefully it won't cost an arm and a leg. If it's way too much, I'll be going with the derimmed 40B and DIY stand route

Yup. It's where I get all my 40B. I'm not about to spend $140 when the tanks go on sale for $40 quite often. I'll be picking up a 40B when the sale goes on in a few days just in case my plans for the custom tank falls through.
