How many puffers do you have, and are they pea puffers?
yeah they are dwarf puffers. Used to put 2 in my 75 gallon. They ate snails there for a while then just moved them to a 10 gallons. I have 4 of them in the 10 gallon now. I think I have at least 2 males instead of 1 male 3 females :\

Also, these are free anubias from Troy Tucker last week

Very beautiful, great job! I can see 3 of the little guys real well. They are so cute but I'm having such a hard time deciding on what I want.

Troy what's the total you could put in a 10gal?

My wife's are lost in the tank. I see one about every other day. There is plenty of food in the tank. When we stop seeing snails we will start to feed them but right now they are doing a great job.

i like the scape above...my dwarf puffers are essentially in a semi-jungle. should redo it with more hardscape

Beth - i really wouldnt go more than 4 in a 10gal. seems to be where most people stop at (me included). its a good balance. everyone gets their own spots to stake.

I like her scape too. I've still got plants all in my cichlid tanks. They look like tanks for tetras or something, but my cichlids have caves and such to hide in. I dunno, I like plants and can't seem to go with just rocks. Of course she has the anubias in there. Looks geat and I really like it. If I get puffers I think I'm going to do something similar with my tank.

I agree, 4 would be best for the reason you've stated. I wouldn't want any one stressed because they can't have their own spot.
