Yes, there are fish in there. A breeding pair of long fin albino bristle nose pleco's, and three pea puffers.

Your eyes are not that bad. I said you almost never see the fish. But there is one baby bristle I can see. He is about 2" from the top. At the top of the val. in the middle of the back glass.

Thanks morph. Back then there were 4 types of plants in the tank. Now there are 13 types. Never thought it would look as good as it does.

What a gorgeous tank! I'm thinking since the rubber lip plec likes cooler water that maybe I should go with bristle nose. I had one before that my angel fish at the time killed.

                    What a gorgeous tank!
Thank you Beth. I am very proud of this tank. It has gone through a lot of changes. It's the oldest tank I have. the lights are 1 wal-E world 10g hood cut to fit. and a another 10g light. So it has 4 mini fluorescent bulbs that give 600 lumens in a full spectrum. Even I don't under stand all that. The point I was trying to make, is 4 wal-mart bulbs. They aren't high $$$'s. So your 10g should do great with just two.

I like albino bristle nose. They are the best algae eaters. IMO.

IMO> This would be a good planted tank. You want this tank to be in the bed room? planted tanks are the most relaxing tanks. Fish are almost unimportant in them. They change week to week as they grow and you trim. It's a garden in glass. with a few wet pets.

Agreed with the most relaxing tank. Once it is established, there is very little work to do on a planted tank.

Yes, it's in the bed room. I definitely want plants but I've also got to have some fin friends in there. I have insomnia and I'm looking forward to sitting by the tank at night before bed. I do that with the big tanks but having one in the quietness of the bed room will be awesome. I've killed every plant that I've ever bought, or the fish has. I'm going to try it again though.

I got my light today!! It's gorgeous and I love it! It's my first LED and I can't believe how thin and light weight it is. The tank is clean and I'll be preparing it today. Can't wait to get my bristle nose and fishies!

I have decided to go with the bristle nose. This will be my second one and this time there will be no evil angel fish to kill it.
