I was surprised to see a single assassin snail in my tank yesterday.
It must have been hiding in the plants that I bought recently. Not sure if it is a F or M though.

they do hide quite well. even in the gravel they still burrow a little. you just buy a few and hope for the best

i can PM you with what i find in my tank. could meet at like fishland. would be about the halfway point. i never need excuses to see fish :)

Zebras and true Altums are my 2 favorite fish.

I have True Altums. I did scalar for years but always wanted Altum. So last year I got them for my self for Christmas.

I vacuum with just a hose. I have sand so a gravel vac will not work but the hose picks up snails, poopies, broken off plant parts, and uneaten foods. with out picking up the sand. It does work.

I had 5 in my 120P when I was renting a house. Moved into an apartment and now it just sits empty in the garage. Sold off the Altums to good homes though. So hopefully they are doing well. Had some nice big Scalars at one point too.
