That is quite a lot of fry for one molly. congrats. i remember my dalmatian mollies back in the day producing a lot, but it was a few females to give that amount of fry.
Wow, that is a boatload of babies. They will be healthier and grow faster if there is some marine salt in the water.

Mollies do better in brackish and saltwater than in freshwater. If you want to see black mollies with vibrant colors, increase the salinity. I used to use mollies to cycle my saltwater tanks but I left them in after converting them to saltwater.
Yes, marine salt is better than other types of salts because the marine salts contain trace elements.
