favorite fish

ive had lots over the years.my 1st fave was j dempsey,until I found out Oscars got twice as big.red tail cat cured me of that kind of thinking.these days, neolamprologus buesheri near the top for me.mean when their growing out,worse when they get big.hard to find.expensive.got plenty of adult males.eventually two find each other and once they pair up,the battle is over.typical brood size,6-10.single adult males make decent tang community
fish.most of their aggression is conspecific.picked up my first pair 20 yr ago at an auction.been doing lamps ever since.

well,if only two of you gonna post,you both get free fish.ptran,your fronts look awesome.thanks for posting the pic.im nearly eyebrow deep in mbuna these days.my current favorite is metriclima minutus.kinda like a dwarf zebra.they kinda hard to find.dave brought in some wc fish about 5 years ago.i brought home 6.in a couple months they had worked themselves to a trio,then a pair.the pair worked out good and are still around.they've given me lots of fry.great fish,if your into mbuna,get some.mredman,as for eating,i like flounder with hush puppies and homemade fries.

Really most are on Facebook now, I try and crosspost all our GHAC events here as I love the site. I have tried pushing it over there and occasionally win a few folks over, but not sure how to get them back over here
