Does anyone have experience with fire eels in regular hard water around Cypress/Houston? From reading it looks like they prefer more neutral Ph, but then again so do most of my other fish. Somehow they seem to have adjusted. with my tanks i have always been more successful just keeping things stable, rather than trying to mess with PH and hardness level by adding store bought RODI water. Any experienced fire eel keepers: I would appreciate your comments and thoughts.
