Potassium Permanganate

Can anyone point me in the right direction for finding Potassium Permanganate locally?  
I think it is hazardous cargo and so I am not sure how I would get it shipped.
(I have a bit of a snail problem I don't want to allow to spread   )

Try Ace hardware or Sears in the pool chemical section.

Thanks for the info!

I had actually tried an ACE Hardware last weekend but failed to find it.
I thought it would be in the water softener section.
Is it actually labeled "potassium permanganate"?
Can I just ask for that? or should I just check the pool section?

Anyhow I will try again and look in the pool area this time.

also check he berings on weslayan, i recall seeing it there not too long ago. its not in super concentrated fomula but you dont need chemical grade anyway (dangerous stuff)

yeah or botia skalia (i like both they are all super cool) you gotta love loaches they are always so active, except for those hiding clowns.

How big do those guys get?
Are they like other loaches where you really need a group of them?

the yoyo grows to be 4-5". I don't know about the other kind.   It's best to get at least 3 - they're social like that.  They love snails! I never planned on having loaches until my snail explosion - but i'm glad I picked them up..they're pretty cool 8)
